On August 19th, Alfred’s life changed in an instant when he was the victim of a hit-and-run accident. He was struck by a car and left with two broken legs and a broken arm. Since then, he has endured multiple surgeries, with rods placed in his legs, and has remained in the hospital fighting through this painful and uncertain recovery.

Alfred still faces a long road ahead. Once released, he will need extensive rehabilitation to learn to walk again and regain his independence. The medical bills continue to grow, and while he focuses on healing, he also needs support to cover basic living expenses like rent.
