We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our dear friend Agostinho Arruda, who was recently involved in a devastating car accident. This unexpected tragedy has turned his life upside down.

Gus's accident was on July 5, on the 93 on the way to Boston.

Gus is at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital currently undergoing multiple medical treatments. He has had two major surgeries and has a long way to recover; he will need ongoing care.

His wife, Armanda, who has always been a very active member of the Portuguese community and has always been the first to help those in need, will need to take time off work to care for her husband.

We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease the burden and ensure Gus gets the care and support he needs to heal. All donations will go directly toward covering medical expenses, therapy, medications, and essential living costs during recovery.
