Aid Addison Gates in Rebuilding After Accident

On October 29th, my sister Addison Gates got into a car accident where her car was fully submerged under water. She was on her way to work at 5am, then heading to school at MCLA where she plays soccer. Luckily with Addison’s quick thinking, she was able to brake the glass of the window will her water bottle, hands and the use of her head. She was able to swim out of the pond and get help at a house up the road. With Addison’s car underwater her vehicle was totaled, her way of transportation to work and school. She also lost her laptop and her ipad that she uses for school. Since Addison punched and ripped the glass with her hands she doesn’t have much movement and can’t take notes or type. This was a traumatizing incident for Addison and the whole family. We are so very thankful and grateful that Addison is here with us today. These things are replaceable but she is working full time, attending college and is a student athlete. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated even by just sharing this. This can happen to anyone so please know what to do in the case of being trapped underwater with your vehicle. You can buy the devices or simply use your headrest. Thank you!
