Thank you for taking the time to visit Abbie Wellborns Go Fund Me page. My name is Amber, Angie’s sister and Abbie’s Aunt.

As you may have heard, Abbie has been hospitalized at UNC since Tuesday, July 30,2024. She is being treated for Guillain-Barre Syndrome-AMSAN variant. This condition is very debilitating, and puts people in full paralysis. As there is no specific timeline of recovery, it can take six months to a year. Thankfully we live in an area where Abbie can get the treatment and attention she needs.

With that being said, there will be many medical expenses that will occur through this time. Any donations are deeply appreciated.

We have also started a blog of Abbie’s journey on Caring Bridge. We encourage everyone to visit it, so you can pray for her and understand this very horrific condition.

Everyday is a challenge, mentally and physically, but we know God is with her and her parents.
