We found out today that contents and expenses for displacement while the house is repaired will not be covered because they were living in a family members home and didn’t have renters insurance because they didn’t have a lease. So they need your help more than ever!

AARON WOOD, SHELLIE HIXON AND CAYLEE HIXON -experienced a fire last night, June 29th, during a severe storm that swept through the Ozarks.

While my friend, Shellie and I were video chatting during the storm she went in her house and discovered her house was full of smoke.

Apparentlly there was a power surge that ran into the house destroying some of the wiring. Causing electrical damage. In her daughter’s room there was a power strip on the bed and caught fire. That room is destroyed and the entire house will have to have rewiring. Hopefully insurance will cover all of this, but they will be displaced for up to 6 months.

as of Monday morning they are in a motel and waiting on Red Cross and Insurance.

While they will receive help-they will also incur expenses that may not be covered. So I have created this fund raiser to help them with the hidden expenses of losing your home to fire.
