And before her body gave out, she was a school bus driver—the kind who knew every kid’s name, brought snacks for field trips, and took pride in getting children to school safely every single day.

First, a severe work injury left her in a wheelchair.

She was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)—a chronic nerve condition so excruciating it’s ranked among the most painful in the world.

Still, she kept showing up for her kids.

Then, after 26 years of abuse, she made the bravest decision of all:

She left.

With her two youngest sons by her side, she walked away from everything she knew to protect their future.
