   Single Father Facing Financial Crisis:

A drunk driver hit my car and brick wall in front of house causing me to miss work. And little did I know that this would be just the start of a chain of unfortunate events.

Hi guys I’m a Uber driver, therefore without a vehicle I have no means of income. I have been a single parent for about 12 years now. I have been driving for Uber for over 10 years. I’m not going to talk bad about Uber, because it has been my choice (Time over Money). Being able to actually participate in my children’s lives has been priceless. It has been an especially hard year so far. Things are a little more expensive, Uber is paying less and I’m not getting any younger. Lol.  I was out of work for 5 days before being able to secure a vehicle that I could use to work in. I had to rent a car, which is very expensive. Finally I was able to get the insurance company to pay for a rental, however I couldn’t use it for work. So my daughter was kind enough to let me use her car and she drove the rental. Saved right?Upon getting back to work, 3 days later I was carjacked for my daughter’s car at gun point. Long story, very scary situation. I’m so happy to be alive, it could have had a totally different outcome. The fence in front of the house I’m renting is destroyed and his landlord is applying the cost of repairs to my residential portal. Insurance is supposed to pay for the repairs to the fence, however it has been a long drawn out process. I finally got my car out of the shop after getting it repaired, (that was a 3 week process). Then after driving my car for a little over a week, I was involved in a collision on Memorial Day weekend. What the “@“@, What else could go wrong? This series of unfortunate incidents has left me in a financial bind. I have always put the kids first. I love being a Dad and I’m always trying to be the best dad I can be. I know it’s nothing new, I’m only doing what I’m supposed to do, single women do it all the time. I make no excuses, however it’s a little different being a single father. If you know, then you know. Lol  Please if you could find it in your hearts to donate anything to help me out in my time of need, it would be greatly appreciated.
