Hi, my name is Christopher. I’m a husband and father doing everything I can to hold things together for my family after a difficult stretch of setbacks.

I was laid off from my job last fall and haven’t yet been able to secure stable, full-time work. I’ve been doing gig work wherever I can, but it’s not enough to keep up with the bills — and the cost of trying to stay afloat has snowballed.

We’re now facing eviction, our utilities have been disconnected, and we’ve lost reliable transportation. I’ve been applying and interviewing consistently, and I have another interview coming up on Monday that I’m hopeful about — but we urgently need support to get through this moment.

My wife and I are raising our autistic son together, and our household has some additional challenges that limit our ability to bounce back quickly. She lives with ongoing health issues that impact her daily functioning, and I’ve taken on the full responsibility of providing for our family.
