Hello everyone! I've never been good at setting the scene and being able to fully explain what needs to be explained. But I'm here in hopes that maybe I can somehow make things a bit easier for my family....

Last Thanksgiving, my father had a heart operation that was supposed to give him another 10 years from what the doctor told us. It turns out that heart procedure left us with something more terrifying and something that we cannot fix and cannot cure. They found through all the testing that he also has lung cancer that has spread too far and has reached his stomach and his brain. On top of all the other things he had going wrong from diverticulitis to his diabetes and even his rheumatoid arthritis, this was another thing dropped onto him. The worst part is that it was caught too late and this has become terminal and he is not going to recover....

We have him home and we have started hospice care and all of that. But our current financial situation is deteriorating quickly. I had some money saved and am somewhat resourceful but my mother and I are now struggling as she is 73 and retired and I can't go back to work full time because I'm needed to help care for and move my father around because I'm the only one strong enough to do so. I don't need the money, but my mother very much could use the help even though she will never admit as much. God bless that woman's soul! But none of this will go to me... All goes to helping my mother pay her bills and help take care of a 10-year-old that we also have living with us.

Anything helps. Every cent! Prayers, well wishes, thoughts, positive vibes, food donations, medical supplies like gauze and bed pads and other things all are welcomed. I thank anyone who can and will help. I know in this life, I don't deserve anything from anyone but this man, father, does deserve some goodness from the world before he passes!
