My dad recently went missing between august 10th and the 12th but was later found on the 12th. He was a great man who loved his whole family and would help even if he didn't know how to. We got him to stop drinking over a year and a half ago and he was doing so much better even went on a health kick and lost over 100lbs, and he has always regretted drinking since. He recently showed me (his son) how to cook an amazing steak and some burgers and even taught me how to do an oil change. He was excited to show me how to drive stick shift recently with his truck that he had proudly been working on but i will never have that experience with him, he recently passed away leaving his entire family in extreme grief.
I don't even know what to do as I was looking forward to making my own burgers for him to try, but found out he was missing and later found deceased by the deputy. He showed no signs of wanting to end himself, and he had a son that loved bonding with him whenever I had off work. I am still looking for a better job, but the market is not great since I am classified as the Gen-Z generation. My mom is now a widow, and she is devastated even though she has had her differences with him ever since his drinking problem, but he had been better. My sister is at a loss as she and my dad had a bumpy relationship. I am now the man of the house, and we are worried about expenses as my mom already works full-time and is thinking about pushing herself to get a second job. I work at Taco Bell and have been looking at other places so I could help, but I am not that valuable in the workplace yet with the experience I have been in. I would greatly appreciate anything so my dad can get what he wanted.
