Aid 7 Year Old Elizabeth's Brain Tumor Journey
Donation protected
A sweet seven-year-old girl in St. Louis, MO needs your help!
Elizabeth, a Parkway 1st grader at Ross Elementary school, should be celebrating her 7th birthday party this weekend but is now recovering from 11 hours of back-to-back emergency brain surgeries that were completed yesterday at St. Louis Children's Hospital to remove a brain tumor the size of a bouncy ball.
My name is Katie Kiriakos and Elizabeth is my brave and lovable little cousin. Elizabeth is the youngest of two beautiful girls who have been wonderfully raised, solely by their father Mike. After tragically losing their mother in 2015 (when Elizabeth was just a year old), Mike has done anything and everything possible to give his girls the best life possible as a single parent. I cannot commend him enough for his strength and astonishing courage I’ve seen throughout the years as his girls have blossomed into beautiful, mature young ladies. Mike is a selfless father who you can call night or day to help you with anything. I’m here today asking our family, friends and community to do the same for his daughter in their time of need.
As the days progress, the Weinberg family will remain at the hospital as doctors continues to run tests to ensure the entire tumor has been removed and to hopefully find the mass to be benign. With foreseen weeks at the hospital and post-surgery recovery/therapy, I’m reaching out to see if others can support Elizabeth’s medical journey by aiding her family with the devastating costs of surgeries, medical bills and loss of income to aid living expenses as her father is unable to work to remain by her hospital bedside.
With many already stepping up by delivering meals and food donations, we wanted to THANK YOU ALL for the amazing outpour of kindness and support received thus far.
ANY amount of donation, a hot meal, a comforting hospital care package and prayer will be GREATLY appreciated for our family.

Elizabeth, a sweet, bold, and boss of a lil girl needs your help.
After showing signs the last week and a half about of just not being herself, and Friday showing signs of extreme imbalance, and like her equilibrium was off, doctors visits, a trip to the ER, and then finally scans and tests in the Children’s PICU; we found she has a brain tumor.
I am still processing it all, and in shock as we are moving so quickly, and the neurosurgeons are so amazing, and informative, that its keeping me in a very good place. And Elizabeth too. She has some great nurses, and staff supporting her.
They even wrote her a short story about her self to explain to her what’s going on and what will happen in her surgery.
She is doing great and we look forward to her fighting through the surgery and a fast recovery.
Because of the great outreach and showing of support I am starting this little fund to help with some of the expenses, and things being here in hospital for this week, and looking like next. As well as for costs in the future. I set up this meal train to give everyone that wants to show support in this way the opportunity.
Right now there is days through Sunday for sending a meal, and I will update our story and dates we will be in the hospital as I know more.
Thank you,
Michael Weinberg
