Hi, we are the VEX Robotics Club at the Amsterdam International Community School (AICS), and we would like your support as we prepare to represent the Netherlands at an international robotics competition in the United States in April, 2026. Our team has been selected to compete in the VEX V5 Robotics World Championship, the world’s premier student robotics competition, and the fastest growing robotics program globally. Organized by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, VEX challenges middle and high school students from over 70 countries to design, build, and program robots to solve engineering-based tasks.

We’re proud to be the first school in the Netherlands to join the VEX Robotics V5 community, and currently the only Dutch team invited to compete internationally. Our participation marks a milestone for Dutch student robotics, and we aim to inspire more schools across the country to explore hands-on STEM education.

To make this opportunity a reality, we are seeking donations to help cover costs including robot materials, registration fees, accommodation and travel to the 2026 World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri. The total cost for one of our teams to be able to attend this international competition adds up to $20000, which is where we need your support! By supporting our team, you'll help foster the next generation of engineers, programmers, and problem-solvers while also aligning. Every contribution you make will help us take a step further to reaching our goal and advance on the path of technical innovation as a society.
