AHS's YWAM Missions Trip
Donation protected
Hello South Bay Community!
30 students and 4 staff members from Ambassador High School are going to YWAM's San Diego/Baja base to serve on a short term missions trip with their Mission Adventures program from April 8th-April 14th. Our students will not only see God change the lives of those we get to minister to, but they will find Him radically transforming their own lives too.
We cannot wait to watch our students be transformed while they help transofrm the community. Going on a missions trip each year as a school has helped our students become more global-minded and understand what it truly means to be a servant for Jesus. Each year they are pulled away from their comfort zones and gain an understanding that the world is larger than their daily lives would have them believe. Their faith steps beyond the doors of the church and demands to be applied to real-world living.
On our missions trip, AHS students will spend time with the children who live (and some who unfortunately work) in the red light district in Tijuana, Mexico. They will have the opportunity to minister to the kids and families in the area and spend time with them while they show Jesus' love.
While this particular trip with YWAM is new to us this year, we know God still has SO much in store for us for when we serve with YWAM.
Our missions trip destination changed fairly recently, causing an increase in price for our students. Our goal is to raise $4,700 by April 8th to fund the total cost for our students and staff to serve God in Tiijuana. We appreciate any amount of money that you are able to donate. If you are unable to financially support, please support us through prayer as we prepare for the trip and as we serve on the trip from Apirl 8th-14th.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
