Providing urgent relief to the poor and hungry

Afghans, in 2023, are facing multiple crises all at the same time such as poverty, sanctions, war, unemployment, inflation, currency devaluation and natural disasters. A ban on women’s work outside home has also had an immense negative impact on already struggling families. Furthermore, there are 1.6 million orphans in Afghanistan. War, disasters and fatal accidents are the major causes of father or mother’s death in Afghanistan.

The solution: providing urgent relief to the poor and hungry, creating a small business such as push cart or a shop for men and women’s home-run tailoring business for sustainable income and self-sufficiency of the poor, and helping orphans to shape their future through education and orphanages and providing treatment for poor patients.

With 90% of Afghans living in poverty and having less than US$2 per day to cover their requirements, their capacity to cope with living costs and unexpected shocks, such as harsh winter, is extremely poor.
