Long story short:

I found a lump in my throat while shaving in early March. I had it checked out, but wasn't comfortable with the benign diagnosis and suggestion to wait, since I knew it was getting bigger.

I got a second opinion, and I'm glad I did!  The pictured lump was removed for biopsy, and it came back as Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, which is cancer of the lymph nodes.

Since I had a delay in the diagnosis I have lost precious time for treatment, so I need to hit it hard and fast.  This is expensive and I am quickly exhausting my resources.

I am asking for assistance in covering the cost of 4 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  I expect to start treatment in mid-May, so time is short to gather the funds.

The success rate with aggressive treatment is quite high, so I expect a complete recovery.
