My name is Azam Sadat Ahouqalandar. I am a social, environmental, and human rights activist who promotes nonviolence. Because of my peaceful activities, I was imprisoned and later released on bail. I was eventually sentenced to six years and two months in prison. Due to this sentence, I lost my job and my ability to continue my work.

My 16-year-old daughter lives with me, and we were forced to leave our home and everything we had. Because of financial difficulties, I have not been able to continue my treatment for coronary artery disease. My daughter also needs urgent ear surgery and a bone graft, but she has developed a severe infection, and I have not been able to get her the medical care she needs.

We are now in urgent need of your support to continue our medical treatment and to survive.
