As many of you know, Jacqueline had a rare bone infection in her jaw discovered in 2020, resulting in having nearly all her lower teeth extracted. As you can imagine, this has made eating a challenge! But more than that, it has started to change the structure of Jacqueline's face, as with no bottom teeth or gums, her chin has begun to sink inward.
Jacqueline has been working with a kind and amazing oral surgeon, and finally has a plan in place to restore her teeth. She will have four posts implanted in her lower jaw, and a full dental appliance that fits on top of those posts.
Unfortunately, her dental insurance will not cover this procedure. The oral surgeon and dentist have offered a reduced rate, considering her story, but the amount remains a considerable financial burden.
It's not easy to ask for donations - but we've also learned the importance of community and asking for help when we need it. We sincerely thank you for considering a donation!
