Ahmed’s life has been marked by loss, resilience, and an unshakable love for his family. At 52 years old, he has endured the destruction of his home twice—once in 2003 and again in this war. Today, he and his family of 10 are displaced, living in a fragile tent that cannot protect them from the brutal cold.

Despite the hardships, Ahmed has received no aid since the beginning of the war. Each day is a struggle to provide food, warmth, and security for his loved ones. His young daughter, a picture of innocence in the midst of devastation, now grows up in conditions no child should endure.
