Help Ahmed get a new handle on his life

Help our friend Ahmed khan

Ahmed is a migrant to the United States from India. He came to this country with aspirations to make a better life for himself and to support himself and his parents in India, he is their only son. Last year Ahmed while riding a bicycle and was in an accident where he was left injured, the extent of which he did not discover until later. Ahmed was taken to the hospital, where a series of tests were performed, these tests proved inconclusive in determining any damage to his body. With mounting anxiety and a sense of urgency to get back to his daily life and make a living, Ahmed left the hospital unaware of the extent of his injuries. A few days after Ahmed’s right shoulder started dislocating, this was the start of his troubles. The shoulder dislocation was a constant thing in his life from then onwards; Ahmed sought medical assistance for the dislocating shoulder and underwent surgery, the surgery was not successful but left him in severe pain, which resulted in him becoming reliant on pain medications. During this course of events Ahmed was left without any income, people around him helped him to an extent but resources were slim. Ahmed, being an immigrant and not a full U.S citizen, was not qualified for social programs and did not have health insurance. These course of life events led Ahmed without the ability to earn a living and eventually resulted in a mental breakdown which led him to try and commit suicide. Fortunately, the suicide attempt was unsuccessful, but since then, Ahmed has suffered mental issues compounded by his other medical problems. The use of pain medications has resulted in Ahmed's stomach developing an internal hemorrhoid, which is a constant cause of internal bleeding. Medical-wise, his shoulder and stomach issues have caused severe disability to Ahmed, where he cannot work and make a living. Ahmed has been in an ongoing lawsuit with the driver who had struck him on the bike, but because of the mounting legal fees coupled with medical expanses, Ahmed will probably not see any of the funds that he will get from the settlement and still be left in debt. Today Ahmed still needs two surgeries that the doctors hope will help his shoulder and the other in his stomach to assist with the internal bleeding. These surgeries will be more of a medical expanse for him; we humbly ask you to please assist in gathering funds to help Ahmed manage his predicament and, God willing, place his life back on track.
