first, I want to introduce myself: I’m Hilal Obuz, 33 years old, and I’m from Cologne, Germany. I’m currently trying to help out my friend, who is from Gaza and living under terrible circumstances due to the ongoing genocide. He has the following message for you:

I'am Ahmad from Gaza and I‘m 21 years old and we were living in Rafah in a refugee camp after being displaced for a couple of times. I was studying at the University before the war started. Now, that the invasion in Rafah is ongoing, we had to flee again. We tried to live in our destroyed street but it wasn’t safe at all. I have an old mom and dad. They are living in a tent at the beach. My dad can’t walk anymore and I’m the only one in my family who has to provide for the family. We’re living in a small tent with my parents and my sisters and their children.

I need help to evacuate so I can achieve my goals and help my family. This war destroyed my whole future. Life has become and will become difficult without a home to stay. My father is an old man who cannot work. I was studying at the university before the war but my dream was shattered after my university was destroyed. Our situation is very hard and even after the war ends, we don’t know where to go. Please help us so we have a small future and spread it.
