Hi there we are An Hour For Others, a Liverpool based charity. we are raising funds to support 35 families and a total of 135 local children in our communities this Christmas. We have budgeted £150 per child which will be spent on specific presents and clothes, the figure of £6000 would support 40 of those children. The children are chosen from many of the families we support, local schools and other grassroots organisations we link with. If we can raise more than our target that would be absolutely incredible!!

This support is an absolutely massive help to the lovely families who really struggle especially at this time of year with the pressures Christmas can bring. The support and kindness is so appreciated by those we help and the positive effect it has on people's lives and the wider community is huge. None of us know when our lives may be turned upside down, it can happen in a heartbeat, to know that there are people there to help you through the hardest times is how communities should work.

In the video below two of the schools we link with sent their brilliant choirs into the offices of our supporters Bruntwood UK as their 'Hour for Others' in Christmas 2019 putting a smile on the workers faces.

We are aiming to have all of the funds available by the 1st December so we can then purchase the presents which our volunteers will be delivering across the city on Monday 17th December!!
