A Heart for Paddy

I'm Paddy, a 3 month old Chihuahua mix!  I was born with a heart defect called Patent Ductus Arteriosis (PDA).  This is where a structure in my heart remained open (patent) at birth  so blood is routed abnormally through my heart and lungs.  This causes my heart to work much harder than normal to get blood to the rest of the body.  This extra stress on my heart will cause it to quickly fail if I don’t have surgery to correct it. 

My friends at the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center are trying to raise  $2,500 so I can have surgery to repair my heart defect  (performed by Dr Todd Trostell at Inland Valley Veterinary Specialist).  The doctors are confident that the surgery will allow me to live a healthy happy life with a normal life expectancy.   Please consider donating to my surgery.  No amount is too small.  <3
