How far would you go for your loved one? For most of us, that’s an easy answer. “As far as I need to go”. This is Hectors story, a 12 year old boy who gave all his strength to recover from an incurable medical condition.  We all wake up and plan our life’s ahead, without giving death much of a thought. As most kids neither did Hector, a very healthy 11 year old who lived life to the fullest until the day he started getting light headaches that then progress to severe headaches. Coming from a low income family, he didn’t want to make too much of the situation, eventually things got to the point to where he couldn’t hide it anymore. His parents took him to the hospital where they would get get the worst news a parent can get. Their son Hector was diagnosed with Glioblastoma phase 4, an incurable cancer that comes back regardless of treatments and medical procedures. This type of cancer is very rare in kids. Hector had a total of 2 major brain surgeries, that only slowed down the inevitable. This fundraiser
isn’t to save Hectors life unfortunately, but to get his family back on their feet, a mother and father who had to leave their jobs to be able to run their son to chemo, a couple who had to be there right by his side to take care of him 24/7 for 18 months. A dad who lost his job to the pandemic. This fundraiser goes to the parents who had to sell their home to raise enough money for their child to get his first surgery. This is for the child’s  grandmother who had to sell her home so her grandson could afford his second surgery..  A low income family who did everything that was in their hands to make sure their Son had the best shot at life. They lost it all. I put 5 thousand dollars on here because I don’t have goal in specific.. I just want to raise as much money as I possibly can to help his family.  I know that there isn’t an amount of money in the world that could replace the loss of their son Hector, but maybe, just maybe, helping them out financially will help them grief in peace without them thinking of where their next meal will come from, might be one less thing to worry about.  UPDATE: JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ALL WHO DONATED AND SHARED THIS CAMPAIGN.
