As many of you know, Jimmy was unexpectedly diagnosed with leukemia on September 9, 2015. He is at the best cancer center across the nation, The Lucille Markey Cancer Center, with a talented, highly skilled team of professionals. At the very beginning of his diagnosis process, difficulties arose, delaying the start of the scheduled treatment. With the long treatment plan laid out for his fight against leukemia and the amount of time off work being sick before his hospitalization, he has already run out of paid time from his job. And then after his cancer goes into remission and he is released from the hospital, he will still have mounting bills from missing work, copays, prescriptions, appointments and living expenses. He is truly overwhelmed at the outpouring of support, love and prayers shown by everyone from the very beginning of this journey. We are now asking those that can, to help us alleviate the stress of worrying about finances so that he can solely devote his energy to his healing and recovery.
