Hi, my name is Katie O'Brien - the sister of Greg Brown - and I'm fundraising for his wife, my sister in law, Melissa Brown.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news of Greg's passing. He departed unexpectedly in his sleep from cardiac arrest on February 21st, 2024 at the young age of 38, leaving behind Melissa and their beloved children - Madison, Paisley, Sienna and Landon. We are engulfed with grief as we come to terms with this profound loss.

As we navigate through this difficult time, we are reaching out to our family, friends, and extended community for support. The financial burden of funeral expenses can be overwhelming, and we are seeking your assistance to help give Greg the dignified farewell he deserves.

Melissa finds herself shouldering the responsibility of supporting their family single-handedly, managing all their financial obligations despite holding only a part-time job. Adding to the complexity, Melissa has been grappling with a multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis since 2004 and continues to fight her ongoing battle every day.

If you had the privilege of knowing Greg, you know that he was a hard-working/dedicated/loving husband, father, and provider. Without him his family is lost. Let us come together as a family, as a community, to celebrate Greg's life and support their family through this truly devastating time.
