*Updates below*
It is with a humble heart & full trust in God & the divinity in each of us that I ask for financial help.
BACKGROUND This has been a year of change & shifting priorities in our home. Mom's increased memory decline, added to her other medical concerns has shifted the need for me to be home to care for her. Managing all doctor appointments, managing medication, meals, & support services.
Mom is no longer able to drive, struggles to manage medication, meals & blood sugars without support. She does get tired more easily, and thankfully is now taking the proper naps (with her cpap) that help her brain function & mood.
The good news is she does NOT have Alzheimers & her long term memory is in tact! The not so great news is her short to mid term memory. It takes more work for information to get into long term memory, and she isn't able to easily adjust or respond especially with complex tasks (like driving).
Due to this shift of need in care I am not able to work outside of the home. I am looking into options that allow for the amount of time & focus I have while she is sleeping.
Even with an in home caregiver (of which I do have some emergency support), I need to be available for all doctors appointments & calls. I know her history, what she has been recently experiencing (which she gets confused with), and am the best advocate to communicate with her multiple care teams for her needs & goals to be best met.
Thankfully now that we have a proper diagnosis for her memory concerns we are all on the same page & can care for her most optimally. Our goals are to keep her home, mobile, & as active as she can be. Keeping her brain active & healthy is key, while managing her other health concerns.
A PLAN FORWARD Over the past few months we have fallen behind in our bills. We have been able to set up payments, or were blessed with miracles that came just in time to keep us a float. I am continuing to reach out for services that can help us & have already been blessed by angels, but there are some things these services cannot assist with.
In addition, to be able to minimize future debts and bring more resources into our home I have plans that require a little bit of time & gas, once the bills are caught up. Example; consolidation of 2 storage units, with a yard sale of items we do not need & donation of what doesn't sell to downsize our belongings. We have started the process for me becoming a paid caregiver & access to supportive programs for mom & me. This takes time to go into effect once approved.
Again, I am looking into options that allow for flexibility with moms needs & my energy level to bring additional income in the next month.
THE HELP WE NEED Our biggest need is getting caught up with the existing overdue bills. I understand that things are equally tight for so many of us. If each person reading this was able to donate $5 - $20 that would go a long way in helping. Every bit counts and even $1 will be appreciated greatly!
I love you all for the love & support you have given me & my mom as we handle this very tricky transition in her life & care. I cannot thank you enough for your time and consideration.

Updates:
~ I have been approved as a paid caregiver for mom! This will help us moving forward. I'm not sure how soon this abundance will reach us. I'm so very grateful that we have forward movement.
~ I am working hard to get the everything set up for a yard sale in August. Anybody who is able to give me a hand with helping to transport items, sort through some boxes, or anything else during this time would be greatly appreciated.
~ We are still waiting to hear about a program we applied to for help with our energy bill. Prayers & positive energy is still requested for the greatest outcome.
~ I will still be asking for support until everything is caught up. We are doing our best to make every dollar we have stretch. We appreciate everyone helping us by giving us a few more to work with.
