University Tuition

Hello everyone! My name is Leyson Vargas and I am currently a senior at East Ridge High School located in Clermont, FL.  I have been playing soccer since the age of 3 years old and have had a passion for it since then.  I am so grateful for my dad Leyson Vargas Sr who is actually the one that introduced the sport to me at a young age. Soccer has provided me with so many opportunities and has opened so many doors where I was able to play for many great academies.  Some of these academies include: Redbulls Academy, Houston Dynamos and many more.  I have also traveled to Portugal, where I was a guest player for Central Brooklyn and we played in Mundialito. Another team I guest played for was Gjoa based out of Brooklyn, NY and we attended Norway. I am forever grateful to these above teams for providing me the opportunity to experience soccer on a different level.   I definitely have many great and memorable experiences which have got me to where I am now and in which has allowed me to pursue it further.

Throughout this I have also kept up with my grades, attended my soccer practices and have held employment to save what I could to go towards my tuition.

Today I humbly reach out to you for help as I am trying to raise money for my university tuition, books, supplies, etc.  I was recently accepted to Cleveland State University in Ohio where I will be studying Civil Engineering and will be enrolled for the Fall of 2021. As we all know tuition costs are extremely high and I know that although it is out of our control, fees must be paid.  Each semester is roughly about $7,000 and not counting books and supplies.

Leaving to college is a huge accomplishment for me & my family being the first off, I would love to show my siblings anything is possible as long as you strive hard for your Dreams.

It would mean a lot to me for this Dream to attend a University and be able to play soccer at a collegiate level to FINALLY come true.
