On September 19th, my beautiful mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. My mother was strong, resilient, and brave. For the past ten years she fought against this illness as much as she could, and we admire her for it. She fought until her very last breath, not once abandoning hope. She was a loving wife, amazing mother, and a very proud grandmother. We miss her more than words could ever express.
I created this fundraiser in hopes of being able to provide and give her the most beautiful memorial in her honor, so that she could be remembered as she deserved. For those who had the opportunity to know her knew how kind she was and how loving. My mother loved fiercely. She was compassionate to those who needed compassion, and she was always so quick to lend a helping hand. She leaves behind her husband who also cared for her during her time of need, her three children, and two loving grandchildren.
During her final months, I dedicated my time to providing in-home hospice care for her in my home. Due to that, I was unable to work. I was thankful to be there for my mom during this time to be there for her, to love her, and to watch for her like only family can. I relied on my family during this time as well to make ends meet. Any additional donations not used for the memorial will be used to help me get through this period while I readjust.
