This is my mother, Susan. She has worked so hard for so long as a nurse, which she absolutely loves and lives for. She has three children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandbabies! She has and always will literally do anything for anyone, even at the sacrifice of herself!

On August 6, 2025, she was diagnosed with breast cancer on the left side with a spread to her lymph nodes. After meeting her oncology team, we learned there may be something in her right breast as well. Repeat imaging was done, as well as a biopsy that came back as cancer on the right side on September 10, 2025. So she now has bilateral breast cancer. She has had her double Mastectomy September 17, 2025. After recovering from her surgery she started her journey of chemotherapy, which was supposed to be 8 cycles. Due to complications after cycle 6 and a couple of hospitalizations, she was taken off of work and cannot return for three months. She is fighting off an infection that doesn’t want to go away so they have ended her chemotherapy due to it being to risky to her health.

We are looking to raise money to help her while she is off of work during this challenging time.

This is a woman who gives every ounce of herself to everyone around her, and now I’m just hoping that the world can just give a little back to her in this very trying time of need!
