If you asked me 2 years ago where I thought I would be, I would have told you working at a job I loved, raising my three children, taking care of my husband and my home.  Unfortunately, all of that came crashing down when I was laid off from my job.  I have been searching for reemployment for close to two years now to no avail...seems there are a lot of us out there looking for work!  While I have been able to pick up part time hours here or there, I have not been able to find employment at the level had attained, significantly reducing our household income.  With the Emergency Unemployment Compensation act not being renewed, i is even tighter.  As a result, we have not been able to afford our monthly expenses.  Everything we take in goes out to groceries, gas, utilities...and our mortgage fell behind, a lot.  We tried going through the channels everyone suggested but were denied approval for a loan modification because we just don't have enough income to cover it right now.  We have been desparately seeking help and have not found anything that will meet our need.
At this point we cannot even afford the legal fees to try and claim bankruptcy.
This weekend's mail brought the news I have been dreading...notice of final judgement.  We are devestated.  We can't lose our home of 20 years...where will we go?  How can this be?

So I am doing something I never I thought I would ever do...putting my dire situation out there and seeking help from anyone who can hear this plea.  Please help us save our home.  We would be so grateful for any assistance you can give. 

Our dream would be to raise enough to save the house from foreclosure, though even just the money to pay for a laywer at this point would be a blessing.
