Dr. Shalini Aggarwal, mother to Rohan (8th grade at Western Academy) and Shreya (freshman at UH) and wife of Rahul (one of Western's volunteer math tutors) is suffering from an aggressive form of lung cancer which is also attacking her spinal cord. Her condition has become worse. She is now paralyzed from the waist down, and the prognosis by the doctors is not positive.

Not only have the medical expenses been high, but they have also suffered the loss of their family business (Shalini's psychiatry practice, where Rahul worked full time as her business manager, has closed due to her health issues). Their finances are strained to the limit. Any help you can provide will alleviate some of the stress they are experiencing.
