Against the Current: A Rhode Island Documentary
Donation protected
It’s time for a candid conversation about sustainability and the choices we make.
Against the Current is a short documentary exploring the complexity involved in a conversation about ‘sustainable seafood’ through the lens of Rhode Island’s fishing and aquaculture industries.
The film features interviews with members of the local community, including fishers, farmers, markets, restaurants, advocates and consumers, highlighting what they’re each doing to ensure the future of RI’s coastal ecosystem.
Our goal in creating this film is to empower people to make decisions that are better aligned with their local ecosystem and acknowledge that there is no one way to do so.
