Help Rebuild a Smile

Hello everyone,
I never thought I'd find myself doing this, but sometimes life takes unexpected turns. On 2nd August, I experienced a horrifying incident – I was brutally attacked and robbed while walking home. A simple "¡hola!" turned into a nightmare as I was knocked unconscious, waking up with a broken jaw in three places, front teeth knocked sideways, a nasty wound on my chin, and multiple bruises and abrasions.
I underwent surgery on 21st Aug to reposition my jaw with titanium plates and remove the damaged front teeth. The aftermath includes my jaw wired shut for four weeks and the right side of my face paralysed due to nerve damage from the surgery. The recovery is a slow process, and my self-confidence has taken a significant hit.
While my insurance and GHIC covered the medical treatment, it doesn't extend to replacing the teeth that were removed during surgery, as it's not deemed urgent but is crucial for my well-being.
Regrettably, I cannot identify the perpetrator, hindering my ability to seek compensation through the Spanish justice system as this requires a conviction. I plan to return to work in December, but the financial strain, coupled with ongoing medical challenges, has left me in a difficult spot.
I hate to ask for help, but the reality is, I can't do this alone. I am reaching out to all of you, my friends, family, and even those who may not know me personally, to contribute what you can. Your support will go towards covering the costs of replacing my teeth and easing the financial burden caused.
No donation is too small, and every bit helps to help me get back on my feet. I am immensely grateful for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
Thank you for being a source of strength and support.
