Miracle Baby

Hello my name is Shanell Forbes and I was in a tragic accident on June 1st of 2023. I was 26 weeks pregnant with my second daughter when I was shot twice, one in my back and one in my leg. I was at a 7/11 in Miami Dade Florida at approximately 12:01am. I was sleeping in my car while waiting for my daughters father to get back when I was suddenly woken up to 2 bullet wounds. Both passenger side windows were shattered and multiple bullet holes in the door .I was rushed to Ryder Trauma center. I had to get surgery to remove my kidney and reconstruct my bowel as well as an emergency C-section because my baby was in distress and because of the bullet wounds. She was born 2 pounds and 5 ounces and is currently still in the ICU. I had her unexpectedly and too early that I was not able to have a baby shower so at the moment I’m trying to raise money to help with my babies necessities but it is really difficult because i am not allowed to work or do a lot of moving because of drop foot which means I have no stability in one of my feet.
