As you all know, my sister is my life, my best friend and like a 2nd mother to my girls. On Sunday Oct 31st at 2 am she was driving home from her on-call shift as an RN at the hospital she works for in Greeley and was hit head on by a driver driving the wrong way on the wrong side of the road. Her car flipped, airbags deployed, and she was badly injured. She broke her left leg in 2 places, her hip is broken, and her neck has a small fracture. Her Jeep is totaled and crushed yet her spirit is not. My sister Alicia put her life on the line working as an RN all during covid and would do anything for anyone. She's funny, smart and the most amazing aunt, sister, daughter, friend, granddaughter, and wife. She has a very long road ahead of her to recovery. Because the other driver was minimally insured, the amount she will have to pay out of pocket to cover medical, PT, loss of wages and get another car will be severe. She may need a hip replacement within the next year as well. Anything you can donate to help with her ongoing medical expenses is greatly appreciated. We want to add that she's at home resting and we'd ask for prayers please. The only upside is that she doesn't have to pay thousands for that new catalytic converter at this point.
