An Afternoon for Oscar
The friends and family of Oscar Royes have created this page to raise funds for little Oscar who was recently diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Oscar needs special equipment and therapy to support him to play, learn and compete with his 2 older brothers! If you would like to contribute to Oscar's equipment and therapy needs, you can help in the following ways:
1. Attend the Afternoon for Oscar on Saturday 1 August 2015.
2. Purchase some wine from our wine drive
All profits from our wine drive go towards equipment for Oscar. The wine has been carefully selected from Silkwood Winery, an award winning boutique winery set in Pemberton, one of Western Australia's premier wine growing regions.
The 'Leaf Range' has a RRP of $22 per bottle so with thanks to Silkwood we are excited to offer it to you at a special price of $150 for a mixed or straight dozen ($12.50 bottle including postage) or $90 for a straight half dozen ($15 per bottle including postage). Half dozens can't be mixed unfortunately!

2013 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
Attractive citrus lemon, lime and peach highlight the bouquet. The wine features flavours of passion fruit and apricots on the palate. The wine has a rich full bodied mouth feel with balanced acidity and herbaceous notes of lemon grass, a delicious food wine
2011 Leaf Riesling
This classy Riesling is fermented to dryness resulting in a crisp lean style. It shows delicate honeysuckle and mineral aromas on the nose. The palate offers tangy lime, crisp acidity with a lingering finish.
2013 SILKWOOD VERDELHO
Attractive aromas of honeysuckle and melon highlight the nose while the mouth is delighted by the flavours of nectarine and guava. This is a delicious easy drinking wine made to enjoy young.
2013 Silky White
A blend of Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling make this lovely fruit driven wine showing apricot, passionfruit and ripe melon on the nose. These aromas transfer through to ripe fruit flavours on the palate. A delicious, easy drinking Summer wine
2012 Leaf Rose
Made from early harvested Shiraz grapes. Guava and raspberries highlight the nose of this lighter style Rose. Fresh exotic fruit flavours delight the tongue. This wine finishes soft and clean.
2009 Leaf Premium Red
Shiraz, Merlot and Pinot. This blend is put together to be approachable, interesting and tasty. The flavours are a balanced mix of dark and red fruits, blackberry, plum and five spice. A wine to be enjoyed now.
2013 Leaf Pinot Noir
Aromas of dark cherries and violets on the nose with plums, berries and a velvety texture on the palate
2012 Leaf Zinfandel
Warm fruit cake and cherries come to mind with the aroma which combine with plums on the palate with complex spices and toasty oak . This is a robust wine not for the faint hearted.
2012 Silky Red
This lively blend of Shiraz, Merlot and Pinot has attractive aromas of raspberries and ripe fruit. Blackberries are the dominant fruit flavor on the palate of this smooth, richly flavoured, mouth filling wine.
