After Years of Pain: My Hope for Healing and New Beginning
Donation protected
I’m reaching out because I’m in a situation where I finally need to ask for help.
When I was younger, I was in a serious car accident that caused a spinal injury, including a dislocated coccyx (tailbone). Over time, that injury led to a condition called pudendal nerve entrapment — a rare and deeply painful disorder that occurs when a key nerve in the pelvis becomes compressed by surrounding ligaments or scar tissue.
I’ve been dealing with chronic, often debilitating symptoms since I was 16. The pudendal nerve affects some of the most sensitive areas of the body, so the symptoms are not only physically painful but also extremely difficult to talk about. They’ve impacted my life and well-being in ways that are hard to describe and even harder to live with.

About the Surgery
On July 30, I’ll be undergoing a complex nerve decompression surgery in Belgium with one of the few specialists in the world who performs this operation. The procedure involves freeing the pudendal nerve from entrapment caused by scar tissue and ligaments.
The goal is to relieve the pain and give me the chance to live a more normal life, free from the symptoms I’ve struggled with for so long.

The Financial Breakdown
The total cost of everything is about $57,000 AUD, which includes:
• $45,000 for the specialist surgeon
• $7,000 in hospital and medical fees
• $5,000 for travel, accommodation, and follow-up expenses
So far:
• My family is contributing $20,000
• I’ve borrowed $27,000 through a personal loan
• I’ve already spent thousands more over the years on physical therapy, specialist consults, and failed treatments just trying to get better
I’m hoping to raise enough to close the remaining gap, and ideally, also relieve some of the debt I’ve taken on to make this surgery possible. Any support — whether it helps me get to Belgium or helps me breathe a little easier during recovery — would mean so much.

Why I’m Asking for Help
This isn’t easy for me. I’m not someone who finds it comfortable to ask for help. But after years of trying everything else, this surgery offers the best chance I’ve had at real relief — and I simply can’t do it alone.
If you’re in a position to help — even just a little — it would mean the world. Every donation lifts a bit of the weight off my shoulders and gets me one step closer to healing and moving forward with my life.
I’m happy to share updates before and after surgery and will be as open as I can throughout the journey.
Thank you for reading and for considering supporting me in this.
