Hi my name is Mallorie and I along with my cousin Danielle and friend Julie wanted to start a GoFundMe in order to help my sister Mackenzie after she returns home from battling a bad case of bacterial meningitis! A super rare infection that can be equally as scary! She was on a breathing tube for two days and has finally come to. Since her waking up we were told after an MRI she has suffered multiple strokes on both sides. She will require intensive physical therapy. Her partner John has been home from work in order to care for their three small children and will continue to do so. We wanted to make this so they have some relief for whatever it is they need. Also so Kenzie can have some much needed tlc after this terrifying experience. She is still in the hospital, recovering and fighting this!
