Hi, I’m Heather Binder, a close friend of Trina Grafil for over 27 years. She’s faced unimaginable hardships, yet she keeps fighting with strength and grace. Now, she needs our help.

In 2020, Trina's world shattered when she lost her beloved husband at just 49 years old to a sudden heart condition. They had been together since high school, building a life filled with love, laughter, and dreams of growing old together. In the years since, Trina has faced unimaginable hardship—but nothing could have prepared her for what came next.

In November 2023, Trina was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. She underwent major surgery and nine grueling rounds of chemotherapy, finally finishing treatment in August 2024—or so she thought.

At her post-treatment scans, doctors discovered she had acute appendicitis, requiring yet another emergency surgery. But during the operation, they found more cancerous spots, meaning she now faces six more rounds of chemotherapy, expected to last until April 2025.

Trina has been unable to work for over a year, and like so many battling cancer, her savings are gone, and bills are piling up. She is struggling to afford basic necessities, medical expenses, and even car repairs to keep her vehicle running for doctor visits and treatment.
