We are reaching out to the community because we need URGENT HELP. BY JULY 22nd. We are starting this GoFundMe for my 73-year-old father who just lost his beloved partner of 40 years in August, my sweet mama who was battling stage 4 cancer. He never left her side until the day she crossed the bridge.

My dad has always been a hard-working man and is one of the most loving and caring people that I know, and we just want this hell for him to be over. He has been trying to fight this legal battle but is unfortunately running out of resources as being a 73-year-old with an immigration status who is falling ill and losing everything he has built his entire life.

Patty Childress (the sister) made my mother a promise not to leave my father without anything, and now she has taken every possible step to take absolutely everything away from him, as well as withholding my mother's ashes from him (which she was supposed to be buried ). This shows just the type of person she really is.

AGAIN, WE ARE REACHING OUT TO THE COMMUNITY FOR HELP, AS WE HAVE TO BE OUT OF THE HOUSE ON JULY 22. We hope you find it in your heart to help my father; he’s done that for everybody his entire life. I can work, I can take care of myself, but my father has nowhere to go, and being 73, he can’t work as well due to his health declining now and his immigration status.

I am trying to raise money to help him with these fees that my mother's sister has put on him, as well as secure him an apartment and maybe a couple of months' rent, furniture , and to fix his truck with maybe a little to put in his pocket for him. Again, my brother and I have to evacuate as well, so I cannot do it for all three of us. I am not worried about myself. I can live on a bench for all I care, but I need my father to have stability. He. does. not. deserve this.

Times have been more than tough for him/us these past few months. The house that my mother and he bought and have been building together these past 10 years has been taken away by her sister. My mother's passing was sudden; she passed within days, so she was not able to create a will, and my father never got the chance to get married because he lost his green card—though the last three months of her life, they were actually in the process because she inevitably knew what was coming.

Pattie and Sharon were never there until she couldn’t even talk her last three days of life. Now you show up; my mother called Sharon a witch, and her chosen family knew nothing of them; she despised them because of the greed they have and the morals they lack. This shows exactly what she was avoiding her entire life. Unfortunately, the state that we were her legal children but never adopted made it harder to keep anything.
