Help Hockley Primary PTA After Concrete Closure

Donation protected
Hockley Primary School is one of the many schools across the country that have been affected by concrete (RAAC) closures. At the present time, the kids are split across three sites in the local area while temporary structures are put in place, with staff working flat out to make everything as smooth as possible.

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is also stepping up a few hundred gears to ensure that their packed programme of fun events and activities continues for the kids. To put things bluntly, like all PTAs they are grateful for any donations they receive, and if you can support them right now with the additional costs of finding alternative sites in the local area and their other expenses, the kids (and parents) will find all of this current upheaval just that little bit easier.

As you can imagine, it’s a little bit trickier to put on a Halloween Disco or a Festive Fayre when your main venue has a great big ‘RAAC - Do Not Enter!’ sign slapped on it! With your help, they will also be able to carry on with their other main objective of funding significant equipment and asset purchases for the children.

After all, it’s a scientific fact that school minibuses do choose the worst possible times to start making funny noises that would make any mechanic sharply intake some air and then start tutting …

NOTE: I am organising this appeal as a parent. All funds will be held by GoFundMe and then transferred directly to the PTA.
