Hello. My name is Kristine and I am fundraising for my dad, his wife, and my two younger siblings who lost everything after their apartment accidentally caught on fire the morning of November 27th.

Sadly the sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke detectors for the entire complex did not work - NOT ONE. Based on the reports we received, the building was not up to code with fire safety.

My dad’s wife was home with my youngest sibling and was the first one who noticed the fire. The apartment was engulfed in a matter of minutes. With only clothes their backs, THEY LOST EVERYTHING.

My dad’s wife was so brave! Only having a few minutes to rescue my youngest sibling, she even went back into the building and alerted all the tenants of the fire. She even severely sprained her right foot and has been on a cast due to her bravery. She truly saved a lot of lives that day.

They’re in a one-bedroom apartment temporarily - but for a family of four it just won’t do.

Would really appreciate your help in getting them back on their feet, and find a suitable home for them to live in especially during the holiday season.
