After 6 years of kidney failure

My name is Kyla and I'm trying to raise money for my mom, Maria Guadalupe. I'll start off by telling you all the whole story. My family and I lived in a little country, Belize. It is a country in Central America. We found out that my mom had kidney failure almost exactly 6 years ago, April 7th 2011 to be exact. Probably the scariest day of all our lives. In Belize they didn't have the best medical assistance to help my mom. It is not a very medically advanced country so we had to take her to Mexico where they tried to tell us exactly what was going on with my mom. It was all so confusing and scary. They also told us she needs to be on dialysis atleast 3 times a week and that if we would have waited any longer my mom would have died. She was never a lady to say she felt sick or that anything was wrong, she just always wanted to take care of me and my sisters.
Every other day we had to make a trip to Mexico for her to have her dialysis treatment, and the medical bills kept pilling up, luckily my mom had married my dad 20 years ago who is an American. We were lucky enough that we could move to the United States so we had no choice but to move away from our family and go to California, where we had start our lives all over but this was the only way we could help my mom and keep her alive. We moved up here with nothing but the hope to keep my mom alive.
She immediately got on insurance and she started dialysis 3 times a week, it has been the hardest 6 years for my dad,mom and I but we had fought through them and we are finally settling here. My mom has finally been getting calls saying its almost her turn to get a transplant but that we will have to pay for part of her surgery. We are hoping its within the next few weeks. Her doctor says she can get a call at anytime now saying they have the perfect kidney for her.
It would mean the world to me and my family if we can get any help at all. We do need to raise about $8,000, which is our portion of the surgery we need to pay for.
