AftA Opening

A message from Ascension for the Arts:
 
The building on the corner of North Street and Linwood Avenue in the City of Buffalo - formerly the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and home to many Buffalo theatrical productions - and is almost ready to be open as a full-time theatrical and community space: Ascension for the Arts!

Long story short, the church has finally gone non-prophet.
 

AftA is raising the necessary funds to open our doors to the public, and we’re saving you a seat in the front row!
 
Here’s your chance to be named as a founding benefactor of our theater space! We are creating a beautiful plaque honoring donations made to help us open our doors as Founding Benefactors. Celebrate a loved one, your family name or business engraved on a plaque to be placed in our performance space and leave a legacy.
 
Sponsorship will generate funds for immediate use by AftA for the restoration of this historic site and to equip it for theatrical performances.

To be named on our Founding Benefactors plaque, donations can be made in increments of $150, $250, $500, and $1000. Any donation over $75 will receive 1 complimentary ticket to any show in our inaugural season and exclusive member discounts. All donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!
 

 

Ascension for the Arts, Inc. (AftA), is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit Corporation with a mission to provide a versatile theater arts space, dedicated to producing innovative and entertaining works while providing a fully equipped space for theatrical productions, regionally based theater companies, theater workshops, and non-mainstream performance art to encourage diversity and inspire a new generation of theatergoers.  

 

AftA will provide an inclusive and vibrant downtown performance space for rent to theater companies. AftA will also be a community center, available for public events and educational workshops.
