We don’t know how long we’ll be in this state of emergency. Keeping the lights on at AFRORACK is costly, and with all classes canceled during the COVID-19 lockdown, our organization is struggling to stay afloat. No classes means, no income. I Don’t have the funds to keep this going on by myself anymore.
AFRORACK is the Chicago music education institution, a central hub of the city's youth modular synthesis education that's been serving the black and brown community since 2016. It's both a vital source of audio-focused STEM education in Chicago and an opportunity to inspire children of color. I’ve been keeping this afloat alone from its beginning, but Now AFRORACK needs your help.
In these challenging times, we need to band together with our friends and family. Together, we can help ensure AFRORACK stays active in Chicago so many more generations can benefit from its important mission for community and wellness.

Aaron Guice, founded AFRORACK to give talented young students—regardless of socioeconomic background—an opportunity to learn modular synthesis, without financial barriers. AFRORACK empowers youth to become the problem solvers of the future, impacting how they engage in school and their communities.
Who we are:
We Believe in Equal Access to Music Technology
AFRORACK is the audio arts organization with a goal of helping the community develop and thrive through technology resources.
We are focused on diverse community access via a collection of workshops, seminars, and ambitious programming centered around STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education.
How your gift will be used:
Funds raised here will go directly to AFRORACK and be used to support us during the changing landscape of COVID-19.
We are currently developing new educational resources for remote learning, as well as paying for overhead due to all new safety restrictions.
