Kodzo, the leader of an African Drum and Dance Cooperative we've worked with  in Ghana, West Africa, recently contacted us regarding a contract discrepancy they have with an agent in Europe, where he and 7 troupe members are presently performing. 

Their contract ends on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  The European agent wants to extend their performance contract, but the group is ready to return home to Ghana due to poor working conditions.  The contractor refuses to pay funds due to the troupe for their performances over the last 3 months, as well as pay their flight tickets to return home, as agreed in their contracts. Although a court case has been filed, their work permit expires on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, and we would like your help purchasing tickets for the 7 troupe members in Turkey to return home to Ghana on Wednesday, January 9th  latest. They don't have funds to cover expenses while staying  in Turkey's cold weather, until their case is heard by a judge.

All of the funds donated to the campaign will be used to get the 7 Troupe Members safely back to their families in Ghana, namely to:
-Purchase Royal Air Maroc flight tickets routed Istanbul to Accra , 7 [email redacted] each=$2,528.68
-Local Transportation from the countryside to Istanbul Airport $500
-4 Hotel Rooms @ $50=$200 x 2 nights=$400
-Incidental Travel Expenses 7 @ $100 each= $700
