We are Africa Sickle Aid, a charity dedicated to helping people living with sickle cell in Africa. Sickle cell is a genetic condition that affects the red blood cells and consequently creates a number of complications one of which is extreme pain (known as a sickle crisis). A lot of people in Africa do not have access to the resources that would help them manage their sickle cell effectively, so we decided to actively aid sickle cell patients by sending over care packages. We have been doing this for over a year but to expand our reach and continue to help more people, we need your help.

In our next care package we aim to send; medications (eg ibuprofen, naproxen, codeine and more) journals to help them track their sickle crisis, a hot water bottle, vitamins and so much more.

By donating to our charity you will be helping many people with sickle cell who don't have access to good health care. All the money raised will be used to sending care packages on a monthly basis.
