Here is an update on my go fund me project and a copy of the original description of the Africa recording project. Yes it’s long, I’d love knowing you read the entire page. Then I’d love to hear that you will pray for the plan, go fund me project and maybe even share this with your friends, and pray for this next trip.
ok so here’s the update on the go fund me project....I have changed my total goal because I started purchased high quality AKG used microphones and no longer need the original total of $20000. I have reduced the total need to $8500. Many people have blessed me by their gifts and will be blessed in return by our Lord. I have received to date $4700. But still need equipment and software to complete the equipment package. Please consider giving a gift of any size. Thank you.
Here’s an update on the Africa recording project. The trip to Nigeria/Ghana was to begin last week, but I couldn’t get my visa for Nigeria in time so it was cancelled. The second half of that trip to Ghana begins in 2 days. I’ll be flying into Accra Ghana and recording in the Dagbani language. I will be returning Dec 9.
Please pray for:
1. Safety in all the traveling for the entire team.
2. Binding Satan from interfering with the recording project
3. That through every part of this God Woud be glorified.

Thank you for your interest in my ‘go fund me’ page. American Bible Society(ABS) has asked me to join their work as a part time consultant, working alongside Steve and Debbie Wolcott, to produce digital audio recordings of a Biblically based program they have developed called ‘Healing the Wounds of Trauma’.
They translate the script into various languages and then partner with individuals from each language group to produce thirteen 30 minute productions.
These recordings will take place in different countries in Africa, starting in Ethiopia using the Amharic language near the end of August. I have been asked to do the audio recording in country and to begin editing for final production back here in the states. These Trauma Healing productions have been found to be very effective in using Biblical truth to bring healing in lives affected by various traumatic incidents.
ABS desires to expand the mission and is going to build two teams to cover more regions of Africa in the coming years. ABS will be covering all my travel expenses, but as you can imagine, the recording and editing equipment is not cheap.
Please consider joining me in this mission project by helping to purchase the equipment needed. The goal is to produce very high quality recordings that can be used for many years to come in these lands where so much trauma continues to occur. The total I'm trying to raise is $8500. I have put in the first $1000 and am asking if you will consider supporting this mission project with a one time gift of any size. Obviously it will take many willing people to give and support this project to reach the total of $8500.
The equipment list I need ranges from a multitrack digital recorder, many high quality microphones, digital to analog converter, editing computer and software, as well as cables and protective bags for safe travel of this delicate equipment.
