Help Danielle Recover from Emergency Surgery

This spring break was supposed to be a time of fun and relaxation for Danielle—a chance to take a well-deserved break and recharge. But what started as a carefree trip with friends and family quickly turned into an unexpected nightmare.

While in Florida, Danielle faced an unforeseen medical emergency. What seemed like a minor issue at first turned serious, leaving her hospitalized and unable to travel home. On top of the physical stress, Danielle now finds herself trapped in Florida, struggling with mounting medical bills, and the cost of extended stay.

Danielle went into the hospital the night before she was supposed to fly home with pain in her upper abdomen that radiated between her shoulder blades. When it got to the point she struggled to breathe her husband Nick, rushed her to the hospital. They both were fully expecting pain, meds, and a release . Unfortunately, she was admitted within one hour of being there. Her pancreatic enzymes were above 3000 and the normal range is 0 to 60. An MRI revealed her gallbladder needed to be removed immediately. She’s going into surgery today however she was also told she will need to stay in additional 7 to 10 days for follow up care.

Despite her best efforts to stay positive, Danielle is overwhelmed, and we are reaching out to the community for help. Danielle is strong and resilient, but she simply cannot afford to cover the expenses on her own right now. We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover her medical costs, her extended stay, and to get her back home to her family.
