My names Marissa. Im starting this for one of my best friends, Katherine.

My girl is in need of some help for her dog, Tank.

On February 26th, her baby suffered a severe spinal injury that resulted in him being paralyzed. He had to have emergency surgery in order to give him a chance of walking again and prevent permanent paralysis. This was a whirlwind of emotions, and nothing mattered at the time except making sure tank would be alive and well.

She has been trying her hardest to handle it all, but the expenses are becoming overwhelming and I can tell it is taking a massive tole on her, which breaks my heart.

The surgery came with costs over $20k, with a long road of specialized recovery ahead. She takes him to PT weekly in order for him to have the chance at walking again, which is at additional costs.

Dogs are the best, most innocent things on this earth and I know I would do whatever it takes to make sure mine was okay; and money should never have to be a stress factor on top of that.

Tank is the sweetest baby, and he means everything to her. Any donation, no matter how small, or just simply sharing his story will make a difference and give her some much needed relief during this time.
